Kick Start (Introduction to Thai Boxing introduction) FREE – bookings required
Kick Start your Muay Thai experience with this free class that is a must for anyone new to Thai Boxing. The one-hour introduction will give you a taste of action to come, and cover fundamental techniques for punches and kicks. It is suitable for all fitness levels and ages.
Equipment required: Hand wraps and gloves are provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Thai Boxing – Kick It Cardio – All levels
Kick, punch and elbow your way to a fitter, leaner and stronger body in this challenging workout. Prepare to sweat as a trainer takes you through high intensity one-on-one pad work, punching and kicking drills on the bags, calisthenics and shadow boxing. All workouts are not only effective for self-defence but will also boost your heart rate and adrenaline levels. Kick It blasts fat, increases fitness, strength and flexibility and burns up to 800 calories per class. We can accommodate all fitness levels – simply inform the trainer prior to class if you are new to exercise or have any special requirements.

Kick Tech – All levels
For those who want to take their training to a higher level, hone your Thai Boxing technique in this smaller, more personalised class similar to what you’ll find in Thai Boxing camps in Thailand. So expect plenty of sweat, grit and perseverance. Our trainers will watch over you to fine-tune your punches and kicks to deliver the utmost power. Pick up kicking, elbow and punching combos that are just as effective on the street as they are in the ring. Practise what you’ve learned with one-on-one pad work with the trainers. And just when you think it’s over, you’ll hit the mat for push ups and crunches. Be warned – we won’t stop pushing you until you’re kicking and punching like a Thai fighter.

All our classes are kept small enough to allow each student to have personal instruction time from the trainer. However, if you would like to see even faster results, or are training for a specific reason such as a tournament or to reach a fitness goal in a set time, personal trainers can tailor your workout to suit your needs.

Sparring- Advanced (requires trainers approval)
Test out your technique in the ring. Try out your kicks, punches and clinch work in a controlled environment under the watchful eye of a trainer and using safety gear. Trainers will pair you with a suitable partner or take you on to show you how it’s done. All students who wish to attend sparring sessions must first get the approval of a trainer.

Fight Squad - By request
If you wish to participate in competitive bouts, consult our staff for a recommended training schedule dependent on your experience and level of skills and fitness. A personal fight program including sparring, clinching and combat conditioning with a trainer experienced in fight preparation can be arranged. Please note that those wishing to compete are required to train a minimum of four times a week (this does not include conditioning and fitness training outside of class time).
Equipment required: 16oz Twins sparring gloves, mouthguard and shinguards (can be hired or purchased at JAI)
Kick Butt – for children aged from 7 to 12.
A program for mini Muay Thai students which develops self-defence, focus and self-confidence while imparting core values of respect and humility. By teaching Thai Boxing in a carefully monitored environment, children can develop strength and fitness through cardio and conditioning exercises and mental agility through the learning of punching and kicking routines.

Self-defence and corporate programs - by request
Talk to our staff about developing a self-defence or private corporate program (for groups from three to 50). Weekday or weekend class times can be arranged to suit almost any schedule, including regular slots or a one-off programs.
